Agencies & Teams

Building for clients, at scale

Standardize how your whole team builds sites. Lock layouts so clients can’t break them, scope what editors can see, and hand off a fully white-labeled editing experience under your own brand.

  • Lockable blocks protect client-facing layouts
  • Per-role controls hide off-brand settings
  • White-label the entire editor experience
  • One license, unlimited client sites

See the agency workflow

Every WordPress site starts
from scratch.
  • No shared design system

Fonts, colors, and spacing get hardcoded into every page — or every client install. One brand change means editing files everywhere, one at a time.

  • Edits get out of hand

Hand off the editor to a client, a teammate, or a contributor, and come back to find the hero section is magenta and a column got deleted. There’s no way to prevent it.

  • Page builders create lock-in

Elementor, Divi, WPBakery — they own your markup and charge by the site. Swapping them out means rebuilding from scratch.

  • White labeling is an afterthought

If you run an agency, your clients see WordPress and third-party plugin branding everywhere. There’s no clean way to present a cohesive, agency-branded editing experience.

Four things no other block plugin does.

Useful solo. Essential at agency scale.
01

Global design tokens

Define your brand once, including colors, typefaces, spacing and more, in a single settings panel. Every block across every page pulls from the same source with override capabilities. Update a brand color and it propagates everywhere, instantly.

  • Color palette with semantic naming (primary, accent, surface, text)
  • Typography scale with fluid sizing
  • Spacing and layout tokens
  • Syncs with theme.json, so there is no duplication
02

Locked blocks

Lock any block so others can edit content but not structure. Mark a layout section as untouchable and it disappears from the inserter for editor-role users — whether that’s a client, a teammate, or just your own future self.

  • Content lock: edit text, not layout
  • Full lock: block is rendered but untouchable
  • Template lock: inner blocks cannot be removed or reordered
  • Scope locks to user role, not just the block
03

Fine-grain client controls

Per-block, per-role control over which settings appear in the inspector panel. Hide color pickers so editors can’t go off-brand. Disable padding controls so they can’t break spacing.

  • Hide inspector panels by role
  • Disable specific controls (color, size, alignment)
  • Set allowed blocks per post type
  • Restrict inserter to an approved block list
04

White-label editor

Replace WordPress and plugin branding with your own name and logo. The editor looks like a product you built, not something you installed. Agencies show clients their own brand, not ours.

  • Custom plugin name and description
  • Your logo in the block inserter header
  • Rebrand the block category label
  • Remove third-party branding from the dashboard

The workflow, top to bottom.

WordBlocks is structured around how real WordPress sites get built — solo or with a team.

  1. 01
    Set up the design system

Define global tokens in the WordBlocks settings panel. Colors, fonts, spacing. This becomes the foundation every block, and every page, inherits from.

  2. 02
    Build section templates

Compose page sections from WordBlocks and save them as reusable patterns. Lock the layout, leave content fields editable. One template, every page — or every client.

  3. 03
    Configure editor permissions (optional)

Working with clients or a team? Assign a scoped editor role with a limited inserter, hidden controls, and block locks active. Building solo? Skip straight to publishing.

  4. 04
Hand off under your brand (optional)

Agencies can rebrand the entire editor with their name, logo, and block category. Building for yourself? There’s nothing to hand off — just keep building.

  5. 05
    Update at scale

Change a global token and the entire site updates instantly. Revise a locked section template once and apply it consistently across every page, or every client site.

Your name on the product.

Built for agencies and teams managing client sites, but available to anyone. Every surface of the editing experience can carry your own identity: the inserter, the block panel, the settings page, the dashboard widget are all rebrandable.

  • Inserter
Custom block category name and icon

Your blocks appear under a category named and branded by you. Clients never see “WordBlocks” in the inserter unless you keep it.

  • Plugin
    Rename the plugin itself

The plugin list shows your agency name and description. No third-party attribution. Your clients think you built it from scratch.

  • Settings
    Branded settings page

The settings panel carries your logo and color scheme. When clients navigate to it, they see your product, not ours.

  • Dashboard
    Custom dashboard widget

Replace the WordPress welcome panel with a custom widget. Add your agency contact info, links to your client portal, or onboarding instructions.

  • License
Agency license includes unlimited client sites

One license covers every site you build. No per-site activation, no per-seat fees for client users.

However you build, stop starting from scratch.

Free forever for solo builders. One agency license, unlimited client sites, for teams.
